A single cask release from the Ben Nevis distillery in the Highlands, bottled by Adelphi independent bottlers. Distilled in 1998, matured for 25 years in a refill Oloroso sherry hogshead and bottled in 2024. Only 162 bottles were produced. Non-chillfiltered, naturally coloured and bottled at a natural cask strength of 52.5%.
Nose: Haribo Starmix, pear, meringue, tangy red currant jelly, light shortbread, lilac, nectarine.
Palate: Fresh tobacco leaf, almond croissant, citrus peel, blood grapefruit, leather.
Finish: One of the more elegant Ben Nevis casks we’ve tried.
