About the whisky
Flavours of rich fruits, smoky dryness, honeyed spice, and a whiff of sea salt distinguish this full-bodied Highland malt
Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich and smokey with fresh oranges, lemons, and pears. Dry straw, oak, and a pinch of clove rounded out with a hint of salt and tiny touch of peat smoke.
Palate: Silky, thick, and full. Dried fig, spice, citrus, and caramel provide a smooth sweetness tempered by a smoked malt dryness. More sweet than spicy, but the touch of the seas is evident in subtle notes of seaweed, a hint of salt, peat, and tarry rope.
Finish: Long, smooth, and oaky with sweet fruit, a grain of salt, and lingering peat.
