About the Wine:
Hard work in the vines, terrific vintage conditions ,and superb Chardonnay vineyard sites with an average vine age of 40 years all combine to produce this classic Bourgogne Chardonnay. Beautiful purity of fruit along with light barrel treatment (15% new oak for the Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault sectors, which together comprise 20% of the wine) and élevage in stainless steel tanks integrate to produce a wine of real fruit character, minerality and purity.
Wine Notes:
Color: Bright pale straw with hints of green and a water white rim.
Aroma: Intense nose of great purity, with plenty of lime, lemon and pear fruit, along with hints of apricot, flint, barley sugar and white currant.
Taste: Lean, refreshing, and mineral with good intensity, ripeness, and acidic profile. Lemon notes and plenty of green apple fruit, along with hints of greengage, elderflower, mineral and delicate vanilla. The finish is lively, vibrant, long and pure.
