The ‘3 Stars’ refers to the three islands that the rums in the blend come from. It is made up of a 10 year old pot still from Jamaica (to add a touch of funk), an unaged pot and column still from Barbados (the main body of the rum), and 2-3 year old column still rum from Trinidad (which adds some finesse to the blend). Tropical fruits and dried coconut on the nose, with a touch of honey. The palate is spiced, vanilla custard and cream soda. Hints of dark chocolate also. The finish is floral and zingy. This was designed for mixing drinks, so think Daiquiris and light rum punches.
