Launched to commemorate the 60th Anniversary when Don Julio first started making tequila, back when he was just 17 years old! This tequila has been aged for 32 months in re-charred white American Oak ex-bourbon barrels, which gives the tequila a beautiful rich caramel and chocolate nose. The palate has lots of vanilla, creme brulee, burnt toffee and cooked agave. Some light citrus balances out the cooked flavours nicely. The finish is long and dry with toffee, citrus and hints of smoke. Best enjoyed neat.
