Firebrand® Smokehead High Voltage – 1801969401891

The high strength version of Smokehead, the single malt from an undisclosed Islay distillery. This looks as if some sherry casks have been used in the maturation – which we greatly approve of! Bottled at 58%.

Nose: Intense peat and smoke, maritime air, porridge oats, vanilla and toffee.

Palate: A burn of hot spirit and your mouth fills with smoke, thick with oiliness then becoming creamy with nuts, brine and citrus.

Finish: A sweetness mixes with slow fading smoke, leaving a salty tang.
