Notes from the Winemaker:
Fresh and lively, this wine opens with aromatic ripe black cherry, raspberry and purple flowers. Richly textured with refined tannins and a touch of acidity that carry through to a lingering finish filled with layers of sage, cocoa and vanilla. This Sangiovese shows classic Stagecoach Vineyard characteristics with a Super Tuscan twist. Pair with braised lamb and penne arriabatta. Drink now through 2021.

Blend: 88% Sangiovese, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Malbec

Fermentation: Average 4 day cold soak and 22 days on skins

Cooperage: Gamba, Taransaud, Bossuet, and Remond

Barrel Aging: 22 months in 65% new French Oak
