Ratings & Reviews
93 Points – James Suckling:
“There’s a very pretty depth of blackberry and sweet tobacco character here in this full-bodied wine with very integrated tannins and a lingering finish. Polished and impressive. Better in 2015.” (11/26/2012)
Robert Parker’s Wine
Advocate:
“The 2009 Bolgheri Greppicaia wraps around the palate with black
cherries, espresso, mocha and tar. The 2009 boasts plenty of depth and
richness in a very typical expression of Bolgheri. There is a plushness
that is quite inviting. Greppicaia is 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon
and 10% Cabernet Franc that spent 18 months in French oak barrels, 50%
new. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2017.” – Antonio Galloni (Jun 2012)
