Made by the famous Camareno Family and Tomas Estes, Ocho has gained world recognition amongst tequila lovers and bartenders alike. Reposado means ‘rested’ and Ocho Reposado is rested for 8 months and 8 days in ex-American whiskey barrels. This release is from 2018 and made with agave from the Las Presas ranch. Aging in oak softens the flavour, giving this a perfect balance of agave and oak. On the nose, fresh eucalyptus and mint, green vegetal notes, green pepper, lots of spice and hints of oak. Cooked coconut and sweetness on the palate, and a lingering finish. Great as a shot or in a mixed drink!
